For all the fanfare and hoopla we had with 13 on Monday, and 16 on Tuesday, we had a much more down to earth 6 on Wednesday, but that did not stop us from having a good time.

Warm up: (all IC and X14 – two rounds)

  • Imperial Walkers
  • Hairy Rockettes
  • Cotton Pickers
  • Single Leg Lunges
  • Stone Mountains

After 1st round, mosey to and around the 1st baseball field. Then Circle up for round 2. After 2 round do a 2nd lap.

The Thang:

We lined up on the side of the mini field within the baseball field and worked our way across, with a single leg lunge for each leg, followed by a squat, all the way across. Stevie Wonder was quick out of the gate, and then reality set in, the reality of how long that field really is. Once the 6 was in, we took a lap, with a little more zest than the warm up laps.

After the lap we lined up again, but this time we did bear crawls (left/right/left/right) followed by 1 merkin. YHCs thoughts were bigger than my arms were strong and we stopped 1/2 way across and did some Mary (all IC and X14):

  • Northside hospitals
  • low flutters
  • xfactors
  • 6 count leg lifts
  • american hammers
  • heels to heaven
  • and wrapped with Diablo leading 1 min of pharoah (15 seconds each side – two rounds)

Then we finished working our way across bear crawls and merkins and then ran another lap.

Next we moved to home plate – and did 3 rounds of progressively faster running between the bases but with a stop at each base. round 1 (10 merkins per base). round 2 (5 big boy situps). round 3 (1o squats).  This hurt a whole lot more than YHC thought it would.

Mosey back to COT and a set of 14 monkey humpers (IC).
