We decided to do Thanksgiving Day as a 2.0 workout, and the PAX brought their kids (2.0s). They came extra bundled up due to the cold temperature.
Warm up:

The Thang:
Cherokee Run 1/2 mile on track with three groups: Fast, Medium and Kids. The kids haven’t figured out the teamwork required to stay together – or maybe my kids couldn’t keep up yet.
Starting at the goal line on the football field, the PAX performed the following exercises, best ball. Best ball means that when the first person finishes, everyone else is done. Credit to Detour from F3 West Cobb for this workout.

- 10 Kraken Burpees (3 hand release merkins at bottom)- Broad jump to the 10, backwards run back
- 20 Turkish Getups – Crab walk 20 yards, reverse crab back
- 30 Merkins – Bear Crawl 30 yards, Crawl bear back
- 40 Squats – Sprint 40 yards, backwards run back
- 50 Big Boi Situps – Sprint 50 yards, backwards run back
- 60 Flutter Kicks – Sprint 60 yards, backwards run back
- 70 Second plank – Sprint 70 yards, backwards run back
- 80 American Hammers- Sprint 80 yards, backwards run back
- 90 SSH- Sprint 90 yards, backwards run back
- 100 LBC- Sprint 100 yards, backwards run back
Next we split: kids and grownups. The grownups ran around the field and avoided being tagged by the kids. When a grownup was tagged, he would do 10 burpees and plank until the end.
As expected, the remaining grownup was Saltlick. It took some 2.0 teamwork to finally bring him down.
We climbed the stairs back to the COT – with some high knees and a burpee to stay warm.
