The Thang:
Being New Years Eve, it only seemed fitting for todays beatdown to recall some highlights from Terminus 2022 beatdowns.
Started with a mosey down to Tavern to honor the start of Tavern. At the wall at Tavern we stopped we paused for 2 sets of Aiken Legs:

Done in succession with no rest
- Squats,
- 20 Box Jumps,
- 20 Lunges (10 each leg),
- 20 Split Jacks (10 each leg)
- Repeat 2 times
Continue mosey down Beltline to 725 Ponce Kroger where we revisited a different burpee from earlier in the year – the Candlestick Burpee:
Run up stairs 11 times; each time at top of stairs perform 2 Candlestick Burpees
Mosey was modified due to time (no O4W park run through) and ran over to the PCM Shed where we did a round of F3 Wordle from a May 2022 beatdown Q from Martina. Similar rules where PAX guessed words related to F3 (either in Exicon, Lexicon or some affiliation to F3 – mission, principles, etc.) based on letter and position in word either 20, 10, or 5 reps of following exercises where performed:
- Monkey Humpers
- Dirty Dogs
- Star Jumps
- Merkins
- Plank Jacks
Several words were guessed and finally after a few attempts and many reps of the above were done the word “PRESS” was guessed and 2 bonus burpees were performed.
Mosey back down Beltline towards the Meadow and past it to rock pile for final 2022 highlight: Dung Beetles!
Way back in March’ish 2022, Smalls introduced the PAX to a rather peculiar (some would say it stunk) new movement inspired by the Dung Beetle: select a rock and push it backwards with your leg while in a bear crawl or crawl bear (backwards bear crawl) position. This was performed 2 rounds for about 15 yards. Just like 2022 the year, the sands of the beatdown hourglass were quickly running out so we moseyed back to start and arrived at exactly 7:30 a.m.
