Gronkins & YHC arrived early enough to say hello to the Shakeweight crew already in their beatdown at Terminus. YHC was also in an upbeat/hyped mood because Taylor Swift surprised us on her 10th studio album not just with one album of 13 songs, but an additional “3am” edition with 7 more songs dropped overnight. Of course, YHC brought his bluetooth speaker to carry on the run to sample the album much to the delight of his fellow runners. Credit, who’d already been on his ‘long’ run, joined us as we got started; Gump ran from his house in Decatur to join us, too.

The Thang:
Started off down the beltline with the new TSwift album keeping us at a sub-8 pace. Typical beltline down & back route on this chilly Friday. Tapped the Tavern, per tradition, on our return to the park, and got a shout-out honk from Tofu as he drove to Dancing Goats for 3rd F. Closed with stretching.
CoT:
Prayers for Credit & Gronkins as they run the Marine Corps Marathon next weekend in DC and for all to have safe / fun weekends. CoT continued at Dancing Goats where Gronkins led a great 3rd F discussion on relationships.
Naked Man Moleskin:
TSwift’s co-producer on this album (and her last few albums) is Jack Antonoff, who is the lead singer of Bleachers and was in the band fun.
