After getting yelled at by a “race organizer” for parking in our usual location, despite the non-official ‘no parking’ signs… we parked further down 10th then had a longer warm-up while waiting for other HCs to navigate the unexpected cluster of traffic. Usually when there are events in the park, 10th isn’t packed by 630am but today was different.
Warm-up of SSH, arm circles, bear hugs, don quixotes, more SSH, low-slow squats, and a couple exercises I forgot…
The Thang:
Mosey’d to the circle by the pool house bc Stonehenge was occupied with race setup/volunteers.
Get in a circle, like a clock… at each station: 1min exercise, 6s transition to next, 3 non-stop rounds while listening to the new Two Friends Big Bootie Mix Volume 23 – its a banger.

Mosey’d back to start to finish with 5 good morning burpees (or squat jumps if your wrist is injured like me). We got more than 5 good mornings from people passing through where the beatdown was to the race, but only had time for a few… we did NOT get good mornings from a very interesting couple who looked like they’d just come from a music festival then sat on the bench by our workout to spectate the last half of the beatdown.
