Dawn was still a bit a way and obscured by the sudden presence of cloud cover in the ATL. The good news is cloud cover brings humidity and slightly warmer temps, approaching 40 degrees this AM. 7 took the DRP and joined YHC at PMS for a little moseying with some other stuff mixed in.
Warm up:
We kept it local for Warm-O-Rama, doing all of it IC and all x12 (two rounds):
- SSH
- Imperial Walkers
- Low-Slow-Squats
- Floyd Mayweathers
- Mountain climbers
The Thang:
Mosey off campus and over to the park, and to the shelter behind the community greenhouse (3:15). Gather by the benches for some stuff (IC and x10):
- Incline Merkins, Step-Ups, Sumo Squats, Dips
We then did a loop, continuing on from the structure, up the hill, past the greenhouse and the skate park and on to Georgia Way and back up the path to the structure (2:55) for some more stuff (IC and x10):
- Incline Merkins, Step-Ups, Sumo Squats, Dips
Mosey from here back out the way we came, up the hill and past Manhole’s party pavilion (thanks Team Mom) and down to the amphitheater (2:55)
or some more stuff (IC and x10):
- Incline Merkins, Step-Ups, Sumo Squats, Dips
Time for some Mary (all IC and x15)
- Rosalita
- Low-lalita
- Obliques (Left and Right)
- American Hammers
- Low Flutters (double set)
- Low scissors
Back on our feet. And mosey from here, up Georgia Way, towards the small pavillion and on around MPP (Manhole’s Party Pavilion) (2:55) for some more stuff (IC and x10):
- Mountain Climbers, Step-Ups, Sumo Squats, Dips
Mosey away from the MPP back to Georgia Way, up the hill, through the small lot and back over to the school campus for a stop at the track (3:05)
for some more stuff (IC and x10):
- Mountain Climbers, Step-Ups, Sumo Squats, Dips
Mosey from the track back towards the start with a loop around the baseball clubhouse and back to where it all began. One quick set of Merkins (IC and x10) and that was all the time we had.
CoT:
Radar took us out.
Naked Man Moleskin:
According to GreenBean and his friend STRAVA, we logged 2.02 miles today along with “the stuff”. Thanks to Green Eggs and Ham for his inspiration in creating todays evolution.
