The Thang:
It’s summertime so we played another version of a classic summer camp game, “Kick and Chase”. I brought a rubber playground ball. The goal was to move the ball from near the meeting point across the park all the way to the softball field at the active oval. We created two lines of Pax and performed the following:
- In-Cadence Exercise
- Rotation between:
- 5x 8-count body builder
- 20x LBC
- 30x Squat
- Rotation between:
- Player at front of line kicks the ball
- They then go to back of their line
- Other line kicks the subsequent time
- ‘Travel’ to the ball
- PAX would travel via one of the following means that we rotated:
- Bear Crawl
- Duck Walk
- Fiddler Crab
- PAX would travel via one of the following means that we rotated:
We came just short of the softball field before time elapsed. Each line of PAX performed a Black Snake mosey back to the meeting point.
