Warm-up:

Wanted to do a full-body warmup due to stiffness from Tuesdays iron pax-themed workout

SSH x15 – Hillbillies x10 – imperial walkers x10 – weed pickers x15 – arm circles – bear hugs – merkins x10 – 1 min free stretch

The Thang:

YHC did some prior backblast and iron pax research for today’s workout and decided to go with “Crazy 88.”

Do 8 reps of the exercise, walk/run to the other side of the double tennis courts (+/- 36 meters) and do the exercise again. Once you get to 88 or 11 sets, you can move on to the next workout phase.

  1.  Burpees and sprints
  2.  Squrls and coupon carries
  3.  Overhead press and rifle carries
  4.  X factors (double count) and bear crawls

The group did very well as we only had around 30 minutes to complete it. Gates was the only one to finish as time was expiring with 4-5 guys well into the 4th phase.

It’s great to have a group of guys willing (or unwillingly) to do this at 5:45 on a Thursday morning in the summer.
