Seven hearty, eager men showed up for another Seles beatdown. What they got was a little “off” since YHC got lost in the park and then had a watch (operator) malfunction that almost cut the workout short (Bibo to the rescue with the accurate time!) Maybe it is an aging issue 😉
Curveball was there doing the IPC on his own.
Warm up:
11 Hairy Rockettes, 11 Low Slow Squats, 11 Peter Parkers, 6 Daft Punks, 6 Dry Dock Crabs, 6 Newton’s Cradles
The Thang:
Mosey to Picnic Area for 3 sets of Step-ups and Dips, 11 reps, i.c. (quickly!)
Mosey on trail to parking lot of the Soccer Field for 4 minutes of Mary: 8 exercises, 30 s ea: Low Dolly, High Dolly, Low Leg Raise, High Leg Raise, Low Flutter, High Flutter, L over R, R over L
Continue clockwise mosey on Trail (got very dark!) Side straddle hop for the six.
YHC’s original plan included continuing on the trail to the skate park, but at this point, a diverging move was made to stay in “more well-lighted” areas. That took us to a large parking lot for some Bear Crawl, Crab Walk and Fiddler Crabs. Then, YHC became “directionally challenged” and did a meandering mosey through the park until we found our way back to the ball fields.
Mary: 29 Heels-to-Heaven i.c. 3X
Here the watch (operator) malfunction occurred and YHC thought time was up, but we still had seven minutes left.
So, mosey onto the baseball field for a foul line run with increasing 8-count hand release body builders (+1) at each stopping point (home plate to right field fence back to home plate to left field fence back to home plate, repeat until 10 8-count hand release body builders at right field fence). We only got to 7 before time arrived!
CoT:
HVAC took us out. Remember CSAUP Beer Ruck on Saturday, 10/9, 2 pm (see Billboard’s Slack post on the Shadow channel for details; glad to hear it was a walk not a run!)
