Warm up:
Group effort on the warm up but Spidermac’s cadence was perfect.
The Thang:
10x up and downs on the B-ball court
4 on 4 basketball game. The catch = 1st half every time someone misses a shot all players stop and do 5 Merkins (we did a lot of merkins). 2nd half if a shot is missed all players pause and do 10x Side Straddle Hops (we did a lot of SSH). ALSO if you foul you had to do burpees. The only person that fouled was Spidermac x2.
CoT:
This was an epic Q. Spidermac had a basic plan and then was open to suggestions to make things a little tougher. It had rained the night before making the court extra slippery and there are no lights over there… so it was kinda like watching a bunch of blind mice running around on the ice… It was pretty slapstick as we had to pause and for penalties for missed shots and fouls.
The best part was either when Spidermac made his first tackle of the game with Spacelaw. Spidermac – 5′ maybe 100lbs. Spacelaw – 6’2 brick wall. When spacelaw fell to the ground I said “you ok?!” he replied “I’ve been tackled by much larger men.”
Second best part is probably when Spacelaw had a solid pass to Buttercups nose or when Tommy John, and Spidermac made sick 3 pointers… Or when every single one of us couldn’t see who we were passing to and either missed or passed to the wrong teammates or maybe when every single one of us slipped lost control of the ball…
No one was injured beyond a good nights rest.
