Downrange:
As YHC laid in the fartsack, pondering this AMs evolution, I thought, what’s the weather going to be like. I took out my phone, i looked at the weather, “thunderstorms”. Oh boy, here we go again. But alas, that was Gulf Shores weather, we just ended up with a drizzle. An invigorating, cleansing, cooling drizzle kept the 21 of us company as we paid our debt on this Tax Day. (Yes, I know taxes aren’t due until May 17th).
Warm up: (all IC and x12 – 2 rounds)
- SSH
- Imperial Walkers
- Squats
- Cotton Pickers
- Stone Mountain
The Thang:
Let’s mosey. Off the lot, onto Womack, then Vermack and on up to the picnic tables, for a brief respite (Dips, IC, x15). Mosey on up the driveway, with another stop at the benches (Dips, IC, x15), continue the mosey up the driveway out to Vanderlyn and down the hill (yes, I heard you Chaingang and Dubya and no, we aren’t going to St. Luke’s) to the track back entrance and down the path to the bleachers for (Dips, IC, x15) and mosey off the bleachers and around the outside of the track to the flagpole.
Here we took a pause for a little Seles (Dubya) Merkin/Air Press pyramid 2/10 up to 10/50 and back down again.
Mosey on to and around the track to the COUPON pile. Grab one and head out to Vanderlyn drive. Time for payment. It was all OYO, 10 Kettle Bell swings, 20 curls and 30 squats (all with the coupon) and then run 1/2 way up the Vanderlyn hill and back. (most PAX got in 3 rounds plus with a few alphas accomplishing 4 rounds)
Time was running short, so we returned the blocks and moseyed back to the bleachers for the 4TH set of 15 Dips, IC. (see what i did there).
We then moseyed to the flag pole for Low Flutters and High Dollys (Rosalita’s) IC and x15 as well as 15 big boi sit-ups (OYO).
Moseyed back to the flag for COT
CoT:
GreenBean took us out.
Naked Man Moleskin:
I continue to be thankful for and inspired by these men. All 21 brought it today. Team Mom introduced our FNG who we have named Hemingway (despite his fondness for fanny packs). He is a writer and a thespian, and apparently a heck of a basketball player.
