The Thang:
Thang 1 – time to WARM UP (was 38⁰ and windy)
Each round included work + run. The run was from the school building near the field out to the road (Womack) and back.
Rd 1: 5 burpees + run
Rd 2: 10 merkin + 5burpees + run
Rd 3: 15 monkey humpers + 10 merkin + 5 burpees + run
Rd 4: 20 squats + 15 monkey humpers + 10 merkin + 5 burpees + run
Thang 2 – Opening day/Baseball
Home base at the top of the parking lot, first base near the portables, second at the bottom of the lot, third base at the curb nearest the ball fields.
At the beginning (pre 0530 stretch/smack talk) I assigned all PAX a number 1-4. This would be used for starting positions (1 at home, 2 at first, etc).
Home plate was always 8 count bodybuilders x15. Once all PAX completed the BBs, the groups would “rotate” with each base being an AMRAP exercise as assigned. With each “new inning”, new exercises assigned to the bases. Home plate remained 15 BBs throughout. 3 innings in total were accomplished.
Inning 1,2,3:
First base = LBC, big boys, dieing cockroach
second base = Merkins, Werkins, Diamond Merkin
Third base = Bonnie blair’s, turkish get ups, monkey humpers.

Upcoming races mentioned. Team mom said he is looking for someone to take Mondays Brook run beatdown. Novacaine took us out with a prayer.

Shark tank (second post) may or may not have set some speed records on thang 1 (sorry curveball).
During thang 2, mumble chatter around F3 names revealed that “chopper” was way better than “chaingang” 😂😂
