5 PAX joined YHC in the Saturday before Super Bowl LV gloom to suffer together thorough a tour of Terminus location (Piedmont Park) with Super Bowl inspired beatdown (4 quarters plus halftime). YHC had too much planned so we did not get to complete 2 quarters in their planned entirety. I blame it on too many “commercials” (a.k.a. running) to get between the spots for each quarter. 1st Quarter:
Mosey to Active Oval Pull-up bars
In honor of Super Bowl LV, 55 counts in a DORA (isn) partner up and complete the following, one partner performing the exercise while the other runs to stairs at mid point of track and back around to pull-up bars

  • 55 Mary Katherine (2 count and count per PAX not cumulative)
  • 55 BBCs (count per PAX not cumulative)

2nd Quarter:
Mosey to middle of Active Oval
In 2020 season, Brady had 40 TDs and Mahomes had 38 (although Brady had 1 more game over Mahomes at 16 vs. 15) so combined total of 78 TDs; Partner one is performing work while Partner 2 runs to edge of track and back

Half Time
In honor of Super Bowl LIV perfomers, J-Lo and Shakira, the Pax did the following
20 IC J-Lo (F3 Exicon Plank version)
20 IC Shakira (HTR J-Lo version – elbow plank alternating hip tap)

3rd Quarter
Mosey over to Splash Pad circle for a Quarter Pounder (or 75% of a Quarter Pounder due to time)
Run 1/4 of the grass area for 25 merkins. Back pedal to the starting line.
Run 1/2 of the grass area for 50 squats. Back pedal to the starting line.
Run full length of the grass area for 100 SSHs

4th Quarter
Mosey to Rock Pile under Park Bridge for 5 minutes HIIT with a coupon –  AMRAP in 40 seconds with 20 seconds rest between (all with coupon)

Naked Man Moleskin:

A year ago just before Pandemic, several Terminus PAX were kicking around expansion. It’s really encouraging to see the community and leadership as other men has stepped up to help launch and lead a new AO – The Rig – south of 1-20. My hope is that in a year from now we’ll see more AOs as that means more men and more impact to the communities in our city.
