YHC showed up in the gloom with a plan to focus on form. Intensity was not the name of the game. PAX were disappointed at first b/c they like sweating hard to inefficient movements that increases risk of injury.
By the time the day was done, education was had and sweat was still poured out.
We started with a proper stretch to loosen the muscles. Then broke off into teams to coach each other on proper merkins. KEEP YOUR BACK FLAT AND DON’T SAG YOUR HIPS! BRING YOUR ELBOWS IN TO YOUR SIDES, were the common coaching points.
Secondly, we did proper Turkish Get UPs. More pax showed up than anticipated so we shared kettle bells – some heavier than needed. YHC finally found the movement that challenges Gates. Thinks it will come back for a future workout now.
The CoT focused on family and our wives. May we love them well.
