Warm up:
Due to the AI hype, YHC asked ChatGPT to “create a 60-minute workout”. Below are the results of that search as well as modifications. Keep in mind, we listened to “Cyberpunk workout” and Daftpunk to get/stay in the AI mindset.
10-minute warm-up (we finished in 8)
- Jogging or jumping jacks (We went with the classic SSH)
- Dynamic Stretching
- Shoulder, Arm, and Leg Swings
The Thang:
Strength Training – 30 minutes – (We finished in 22 because AI thinks we are average humans – had to add some extra workouts) (AI also had several of the exercises listed; however, I combined them into 11’s and added/took out some)
- 11’s (merkins, squats)
- 11’s (incline merkins, bonnie blairs)
- 11’s (derkins, jump squats)
- Circuit of mary (Low plank, LBC, leg lifts)
Cardio – 20 minutes (we finished in 20)
- Native American Run along the beltline. This was challenging for YHC as the group was quite fast. I want to say we ran a little over 2 miles.
10-minute cooldown and stretch
- Several legs stretches and yoga poses. Stretching was very much needed and may have been the best recommendation from the AI.

I give ChatGPT (AI) a 6.7 out of 10 on the workout creation. The framework it recommended was great, but YHC had to do a lot of modifications to it and add/subtract exercises.
Some great conversation about AI was had at coffee. I never really thought about AI and what changes would/will come with it.
