17 hearty souls showed up on a below 30 degree day for another Seles beatdown. This one included a throwback from the original (and only, for years) Atlanta F3 AO known as the Red Lot at Chastain Park (now known as Hot Tin Roof). At the hill by the amphitheater entrance, we did a Jacob’s ladder that was always a crowd pleaser. You’re welcome!
Warm up:
13 Side Straddle Hops, 13 Hairy Rockettes, 13 Imperial Walkers, 13 Moroccan Nightclubs, 13 Newton’s Cradles, 6 Daft Punks i.c.
The Thang:
Backward mosey up the Nature Center Hill to the school gate.
Mosey to the end of the entrance oval and grab a curb. Curb derkin 100. 10 curb derkins at one end of the oval then run to the other end for 10 more. Repeato until 100 is reached.
At adjacent cafeteria parking lot, crab walk and/or bear crawl to the other end.
Run steps 5X with arms up going up
Mosey to cul-de-sac for Mary: 4 minutes, 8 ex. 30 sec. each: Protractor, Dying Cockroach, L over R, R over L, ABC, Box-cutter, Low Dolly, High Flutter
Mosey along Nature Center trails through the playground and out the side to the Wyntercreek Neighborhood and the first cul-de-sac for Drill Instructor: “on your face”, “on your six”, “on your feet” with “up” and “down” calls from each position (~5 min)
Mosey to Wynterhall Swim and Tennis hill for the REAL Jacob’s Ladder: run to the top for 7 burpees, run back to the bottom and back up for 6, etc. etc. down to 1. Most didn’t make the whole thing due to time (but Gold Bond did it all and extra credit!)
Mosey back to start and finish with Mary: 2 minutes of 4 ex. at 30 sec. each: Low Flutter, High Dolly, Freddie Mercury, Heels-to-Heaven
CoT:
Potter took us out. Some PAX are looking for participants for a Tough Mudder (Salt Lick) and Ragnar (Billboard) in April.
