CoT:
FNG. Brought by Manhole. Name is Caleb Diaddigo? Great guy who was more than up for the morning events. Our FNG earned the name Louis Lane (kind of looks like Clark Kent). Basically he is from Atlanta, graduated from SCAD, has a masters in divinity from Dallas Seminary, works in graphic design at WSB TV, he might be vegetarian and never work in food industry. So, with great discipline that we, as a group, held back and let the process move forward figuring if this was Chicken Hanger, then it would fall into place, but as noted above it was just was not happening. Also, I could tell Manhole seemed to prepared to offer strong veto. So your Q tabled the great bag of names (Chicken Hanger, Brain Fart, Cousin Eddy. etc.) for another day.
WELCOME Louis Lane to the group! Manhole to add to the Slack.
Prayers:
- Bibo surgery is now! (today, tonight, or early in morning, seem to be some discrepancy, but essentially now!)
- Scout and his wife celebrated birthdays yesterday. Happy B-day Scout, good. However, his father in law had to go to the hospital and I think is doing okay or stable. So, Scout spent most of the B-Day at the hospital.
- The Eaton family. Tree fell on the house and landed in the daughters room injuring her, but fortunately sounds like minor injuries. EMS folks had to extract her from her bed and room. Very lucky young lady and family. With that said, they do need assistance and a go fund me page has been set up (here is the link); https://www.gofundme.com/f/lets-help-the-eaton-family?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf%20share-flow-1&fbclid=IwAR0bshy4svSuNc9B-UMdF9o6BxRv7Cn7sMdfr6wit93P09p22bP1dwWmRl4
Rum Runner closed us out with a heart felt prayer. Amen.
Until Next Time and There will be a Next Time. – Suds
Naked Man Moleskin:
Scripture of the day: Psalm 24 (right behind Psalm 23) good stuff and reminder of His Sovereignty and the importance of faithful adherence to Him.
Beer Recommendation: Maple Praline Wake-N-Bake, Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout. Not too much flavor. Sells pint size. Dinner or Desert. Not pool beer.
Soundtrack: Jason Isbell tunes for the hole work out:
- Featured songs: High Hope Road, Cumberland Gap, Only Children, Dreamscicle, 24 Frames, Something More Than Free, Speed Trap Town, Super 8, Driver 8 (REM cover), Decoration Day, and Last of My Kind.
- If interested in listening to more of his music, start with Live at the Ryman. Great live album and his live music has a little more energy than the studio cuts.
