Since Chaingang got us started with the rocks on Tuesday, YHC decided to carry forward the theme to our Thursday workout.  A little premonition of things to come with some arm circles in the warmup…

Warm-up

  • 30 X SSH IC
  • 15 x Toy Soldier IC
  • 10 x Cotton Picker IC
  • Large Arm Circles forward and Backward
  • 10 x Merkin IC

The Thang

Move to the rock pile in front of the school, each partner pair grab a stone of sufficient size (as judged by YHC).  Each pair needs to get to Saint Luke’s Church with your stone.

  • 10 Burpees OYO for the six

In the upper parking, we will proceed with a new one YHC found while browsing the Exicon.  The “Apple Turnover” – still don’t get the name, but whatever.

  • Lineup on the first parking space facing the church building:
  • Bear crawl for three spaces, crab walk for three spaces, bear crawl for three spaces, crab walk for three spaces
  • At the end do ten burpees 10 burpees OYO, turn around and face the street
  • Bear crawl for three spaces, crab walk for three spaces, bear crawl for three spaces, crab walk for three spaces
  • At the end do ten burpees 10 burpees OYO, turn around and face the street, rinse and repeat

On the last leg we turned it into a “hot apple turnover” by turning the bear crawl into crawl bear.

Next up is a Partner Dora

  • 100 Merkins, 200 LBCs, 300 squats – partner runs to end of parking lot and back
  • Squats are with the stone – the PTT guys ran buy and we got a lot of “no rep” callouts from Rumrunner while he walked by

Return to the rockpile in front of the school and deposit your friend

In front of school entrance – Grateful Dead

Return to COT, 10 Monkey Humpers OYO

COT

Chaingang is sorting dates for the annual Stone Mountain Climb(er) – sometime around July 4th.  Dubya took us out.

Naked-man Moleskin

Where is everybody?  Numbers are down – grab a friend (or two).  Encourage the folks we haven’t seen in awhile.
