“…..how far off I sat and wondered”. With apologies to Bob Seger, it was a nasty morning at the Patriot and YHC arrived not expecting any other PAX to show. Just before the appointed time, Wreck-it-Ralph arrived and let me know that he knew I would be there as the Q so he had to show up!
Warm up:
There was lightning in the area, so we quickly moseyed over to the picnic pavilion and stayed there in the dry (and especially under a roof!) for the whole beatdown.
12 Side Straddle Hops, 12 Squawkers, 12 Parker Peters, 12 Hairy Rockettes, 12 Sumo Squats, 12 Peter Parkers i.c. Rinse & Repeat.
The Thang:
11’s: Step-Ups and Dips
(YHC had planned to mosey between the Pavilion and the Amphitheater between exercises for a little respite, but with the heavy rain and potential lightning, we stayed put)
4 minutes of Mary: 8 ex., 30 s each; L over R, R over L, High Dolly, Low Dolly, High Leg Raise, Low Leg Raise, ABC, LBC
EMOM (Every minute on the minute): partner up #1 hand release burpees while #2 does imperial walkers, at each minute, switch. Continue for 4 minutes.

11’s: Incline Merkins and step-ups
Mary: 27 Box-cutters i.c. 3X
Repeat EMOM for 2 minutes
Mosey back to start for 5 burpees oyo

Both Wreck-it and YHC agreed that if we hadn’t faced the bad weather and posted, we probably wouldn’t have worked out today. So, another solid workout completed and inertia of no movement thwarted!
